John McGuinness endured a suspected technical issue with his Norton Superbike on his sole lap, finishing the Mountain course with 105.66mph.

The one-lap qualifying session marks the first Isle of Man TT action since Monday due to rain and poor conditions cancelling all track running on both Tuesday and Wednesday.

Five races are scheduled for Thursday starting with the second Monster Energy Supersport TT which will start at 12:55.
