Morelli ruled out again.

Luca Morelli has been forced to withdraw from his World Superbike Championship return after feeling to effects of a recent operation.

Having been out of action for two rounds when he was dropped by Alto Evolution Honda, Morelli was making a return aboard the DFX Corse Honda this weekend, but despite managing several laps in free practice, he was several seconds off the pace.

Luca Morelli has been forced to withdraw from his World Superbike Championship return after feeling to effects of a recent operation.

Having been out of action for two rounds when he was dropped by Alto Evolution Honda, Morelli was making a return aboard the DFX Corse Honda this weekend, but despite managing several laps in free practice, he was several seconds off the pace.

After failing to show at all during qualifying, it was confirmed Morelli will not participate in the remainder of the round due to his fitness state. Nonetheless, he is likely to be back in the saddle for the next round at Brno.

Team-mate Karl Muggeridge endured a good day though, finishing tenth fastest in provisional qualifying.
